Boggard Swampseer

The boggard swampseer is a warty mystic who channels the will of Gogunta, the boggards' monstrous patron, binding bog and beast to its croaking prayers. Where a warband gathers, the swampseer stands at its heart - calling down curses, rousing the swamp itself, and driving lesser boggards into a frenzy of faith. Put it at the head of the warband your players have to break through, croaking its dark liturgy as the water rises around their ankles. On the table it's the caster and morale-engine that turns a loose mob into a real threat, buffing and hexing from the back - set it to command the boggard warriors it drives into the fight, and the whole marsh becomes a battlefield.
