The kobold warrior is a small, scaly reptilian with an outsized cunning, making up in numbers, spite, and dirty tricks what it lacks in size. It fights from tunnels too tight for larger foes, swarming intruders and falling back the moment the odds turn - a staple threat of the Pathfinder Beginner Box adventure Menace Under Otari. When your party squeezes into the warren, it's the first spear-point waiting in the dark. On the table it's an ideal early-level swarm foe for any dungeon, cheap to field by the pack - throw a warband of them at the party's front line and let the fighter Valeros holding the choke point earn his pay.
