The Ort are druge devils, the lowest labourers of Hell's rigid hierarchy, bound to drudgery and toil until war gives them a crueller purpose. When Cheliax's infernal legions need bodies to throw at the free coast, these wretched devils are marched to the front as expendable shock-troops, driven forward by masters who spend them without a second thought. Drop the whole pack onto the table when Hell decides the free coast needs drowning in bodies. On the table they're expendable infernal fodder to fill any Hellfire Crisis battle-line, dangerous in numbers and cheap to field - march them in alongside another of Hell's contract-bound servants, the Contract Devil Phistophilus who signed them into service.
