The leukodaemon is a skull-headed, vulture-winged harbinger of plague, a daemon that spreads disease across the worlds in service to Apollyon, the Horseman of Pestilence. Formed from the souls of those who died of sickness, it exists only to sicken and to end, carrying contagion on its wings and rot in its wake. Picture the moment your party realizes the fever spreading through the town has a face - and it has come for them. On the table it's a genuinely dreadful centerpiece for any horror or outbreak campaign, a herald of contagion whose mere presence sickens the brave - set it against the celestial made to answer such evil, the confessor angel Balisse with her flaming wings.
