The elk is a proud, powerful deer of Golarion's forests and highlands, its head crowned with a broad rack of antlers and its flanks trembling with muscle. Peaceful until cornered, it can gore and trample a predator half again its weight, and it makes a fitting animal companion for a druid or ranger. Picture it rearing from the brush, antlers lowered, as the party rounds the trail. On the table it serves as wildlife, a companion, or a hunter's quarry for any wilderness scene - set it against a hunter who would take such a prize, the orc warrior stalking the highlands.
