The wolf is a lean pack-hunter of Golarion's forests and tundra, snarling and low as it circles for the throat. Rarely alone, it works with its packmates to surround and pull down prey far larger than itself, a staple threat on any wilderness road. Set a snapping pack against your players the moment they leave the firelight. On the table it is an ideal low-level animal foe or animal companion, deadly in numbers and quick to flank - loose it near the brigands who travel the same roads, the human bandit on the prowl.
