The skeleton guard is a tireless animated undead, bound by old necromancy to hold a tomb, vault, or ruined hall against any who trespass. It feels no fear and no fatigue, raising a rusted blade against intruders and fighting until it is hacked apart - and sometimes not even then. Drop a rank of them onto the table the instant your party disturbs the wrong grave. On the table it's a staple undead sentry for any crypt or necromancer's lair, best fielded in silent, shuffling ranks - it's exactly the unliving threat a cleric like Kyra with Sarenrae's light is made to put back down.
