The balisse, or confessor angel, is a celestial that seeks out mortals caught in moral crisis and guides them gently toward their own better choices rather than commanding obedience. Formed to counsel and to test, it walks beside the uncertain and the tempted, drawing its flaming scimitar only when guidance has truly failed. Picture it at your side in the quiet before a hard decision, asking the one question the party has been avoiding. At the table it's a compassionate celestial ally, patron, or conscience for any party, standing with the just - field it beside the living bulwark of Heaven, the shield archon that turns back the fiends it warns against.
