The rekhep, or shield archon, is a living bulwark of Heaven, a celestial that locks together with its kin into vast, impenetrable formations to turn back any fiendish onslaught. Summoned to the mortal world to guard the weak, it wields tremendous strength in defense of those who cannot defend themselves and asks nothing in return. Put it between your players and the dark as the one thing that simply will not move. At the table it's an inspiring defender and immovable guardian for any good-aligned party, an ally worth a climactic stand - field it beneath the radiant wings of a greater celestial, the empyreal dragon of the heavens, and let Heaven hold the line.
