Living Waterfall

A canonical Golarion antagonist to set against your party - for GMs running Pathfinder's published threats and collectors completing the roster of iconic foes.

The living waterfall is a water elemental given roaring, towering shape, a cascade of animate water that surges up from river, reef, or storm-lashed sea to sweep away anything in its path. It fights by crashing, engulfing, and dragging under, as much a force of nature as a creature, and it rarely leaves a body to bury. See it rear up off the water in a wall of foam and force just as your party thought the danger was the crew, not the sea. On the table it's a striking elemental threat for any Over the Waves battle, turning the water itself into the enemy - loose it among the other drifting horrors of the deep, the tangling Sargassum Heap that shares its dead water.
