The rigger is the high-flying rope-wrangler and lookout of a sailing crew, prized for a knack with knots and a complete absence of fear at height. Coils of line slung across her shoulders and a knife always to hand, she is a key hand on any vessel of size and welcome on the smallest ones for her knowledge alone, keeping the ship answering its helm when a fouled line means the rocks. Picture her overhead in the shrouds, knife out, cutting a snarled line free as the squall hits. At the table she's a nimble crew NPC, ship's specialist, or acrobatic ally for any Over the Waves voyage - field her working the lines above a deck-fight against the raiders swarming aboard, the marine marauders on the boarding ropes.
