The subaquatic marauder is a new breed of pirate that strikes at unsuspecting ships from beneath the cover of the waves, surfacing in a bulky, reinforced diving suit to seize the deck before the crew even knows they are aboard. The suit is both armour and weapon: clockwork mechanisms augment the raider's strength, and its brass helm and sealed plate shrug off blows that would drop an ordinary corsair. When the sea beside the hull erupts and an armoured diver hauls itself over the rail, the raid has already begun. On the table it's a durable ambush-boarder for any Over the Waves encounter, best fielded as a diving raiding party - loose it alongside the undead crew that shares its drowned hunting grounds, the draugr rising from the wreck.
