Gutaki

The gutaki is a large aquatic cephalopod whose malice for every other living thing shines through its ice-blue eyes, a mass of grasping, barbed tentacles crowned over a single baleful stare. Its cunning and cruelty run so deep that many believe it born of fiendish influence - a long-ago planar breach from Hell or the Outer Rifts - and so it is named "devilfish," a thing sailors do everything in their power to avoid. Picture the forest of barbed limbs breaking the surface beside the hull, reaching over the gunwale for the nearest of your party. On the table it's a climactic aquatic centerpiece for any Over the Waves campaign, a grasping devilfish worthy of a voyage's final battle - loose it against the crew that must hold the deck against it, led by the bosun keeping order at the rail.
