The brown bear is a familiar giant of Golarion's forests, standing tall on a rocky outcrop with a roar that carries for miles. Powerful but not malicious, it fights to defend its territory or its cubs, and just as often serves as a loyal animal companion to druids and rangers. Picture it dropping to all fours and charging the moment the party comes too close. On the table it works as wildlife, a companion, or a straightforward beast threat for any wilderness scene - set it near a small caster who calls to the wild, the halfling spellcaster soothing it.
