Forest Troll

A canonical Golarion antagonist to set against your party - for GMs running Pathfinder's published threats and collectors completing the roster of iconic foes.

The forest troll is a lanky, ravenous horror of the deep woods, its mane-crowned head snarling atop long, claw-tipped arms. Like all trolls it regenerates ghastly wounds in moments, making it a nightmare to put down without fire or acid. Picture it loping out of the treeline, already healing the last blow that struck it. On the table it is a vicious regenerating brute for any wilderness encounter, punishing parties who lack a way to stop its recovery - set it against a hunter who knows how to bring one down, the dwarf ranger Harsk with a bolt ready.
