The grave knight is a fallen warrior sustained past death by oaths of hatred and dark power, a skeletal champion raising a tattered banner of skulls above the risen dead. It commands lesser undead as it once commanded the living, an implacable general who leads its rotting host from the front. Picture the standard of bone rising over the battlefield as the dead surge forward. On the table it is a climactic undead boss for any horror campaign, worthy of a final stand - march it into a disciplined enemy line worth crushing, the Hellknight Bastions of the Hellfire Crisis holding their shields against it.
