Skewer Ooze

The skewer ooze is a glistening dungeon horror, a mindless mass that hardens jagged spines of bone and debris from its own body to impale the unwary. It slumps against walls and floors disguised as filth and wreckage, then lashes out with a spear of its own making the moment prey draws near. Picture the puddle of slime erupting into a bristling barb. On the table it is a nasty ambush hazard for any dungeon crawl, punishing the party that fails to look before it steps - lurk it in the same tomb watched over by the skeleton guard.
