Ezren came to the arcane late in life, taking up wizardry in Absalom only after his father was imprisoned for arcane forgery - a disgrace the young Ezren long believed was deserved. Self-taught and fiercely rational, he trusts reason and the written word over the gods, and has little patience for those who lean on faith where study would serve. Years of solitary practice have made him one of the Inner Sea's most disciplined spellcasters. Field him at the arcane heart of your party, staff raised as the first spell lights the dark. On the table he's a ready-made arcane blaster, and as one of the Pathfinder Beginner Box pregens he drops straight into Menace Under Otari - set him against the kobolds massing beneath Otari as the party's first real fight.
